One of my favorite things about living in Prague is the magnificent public transportation system. Trams, Metros, and buses can take you anywhere you want to go and have frequent schedules. I don't drive, so it's great to live in a place where having a car is more of a hindrance than a help. Very popular locations where a lot of expats live. There are also many great local restaurants, bars and cafés catering locals – no tourist traps. Prague is not a big city and you can perfectly walk from Vinohrady or Letná to the city center for sightseeing. Prague is also very safe at night. Yes, Prague is completelly safe, even though nothing would probably happen to you, stay away from surroubdings of main train station in night hours (the station itself is fine and you can get there via metro or taxi/uber). Coming from Prague to Vienna was a culture shock since everything was open extremely late in Prague whereas kiosks in Vienna would close at 9-10 pm, harder to get food later night but was still amazing.
