If your wheel is set to 900 degrees in software, and you leave Steering Sensitivity settings in game at its default (50), you have all 900 degrees of steering wheel movement at a 1:1 ratio with the full steering range, lock to lock, of whatever car you’re driving.
I just checked my PC. The software I downloaded was Logitech Profiler. Again I can't recall if it was necessary, but that software did allow me to fine tune the pedals, such as setting the wheel to 900 degrees of rotation. Before installing this, the car would loose control with just a slight turn of the wheel, so it fixed that issue for me.
How to set up Forza Horizon (FH) 5: best steering wheel settings. You have to connect your wheel controller and launch the game. Then, go to Settings >> Advanced Controls >> Then, toggle and change the settings according to the best settings given below: 1) Vibration: OFF. 2) Invert Vertical Look: OFF. 3) Steering Axis Deadzone Inside: 0.
No it wouldn’t, Forza on console has NEVER allowed you to actually go lock to lock as quick as you move the stick, there are a few things that prevent it. 1 steer rate/smoothing (there is a steer angle degrees per second limit kind of thing) most noticeable when stationary. 2 on top of that there is friction/slip angle modifier limiting input
Here is an example from someone on the Forza Forums who says changing the deadzone in settings doesn't work. I've been experiencing issues setting up my logitech g920 in Forza Horizon 4. I don't know if its just me or this is an actual problem with the wheel system but the wheel dead zones don't seem to change no matter how you set them.
I found that other settings the wheel would move side to side like a pendulum swinging. It made it hard to drive. I am not expecting using a wheel to be perfect but it should not be hard to drive at normal speeds. Also no other video recommended changing the Operating Range to 540 all others just either said nothing or said MAX it to 900.
